New Lesson In Basic Rudiments Course
by Thomas Evdokimoff - Friday, 27 June 2014, 01:45 PM

We have added a new lesson in the Basic Rudiments course: Completing Measures with Rests. This lesson covers one of the R.C.M. exam question for all levels of Rudiments of Music. Students are given a partial measure of music which they are asked to complete using appropriate rests. This question tests the student's understanding of note-values, meter, and how beats are grouped within a measure.

Summer Music Theory & History Lessons
by Thomas Evdokimoff - Tuesday, 27 May 2014, 12:11 PM

If you are planning on writing an R.C.M. Theory or History exam in August, now is the time to get started. My Vancouver students begin summer lessons next Tuesday June 03 at Arbutus Music Academy. I have a few spots still available. All ages are welcome. Talk to Diana at the school.

If you want to complete a course online, let me know and we can make arrangements for lesson times and a schedule. I teach all levels of R.C.M. music theory and history.

You can choose to do self-directed study, where you check in once and a while for a lesson and some direction. You can also choose a weekly lesson format as well. Register for the site, and sent me a message.
